The Graduate scheme is intended to allow international students who are holders of Irish primary, Masters and Doctoral degrees the opportunity to enter the Irish labor market.

The scheme is restricted to graduates of Irish educational institutions which are recognized by the Department of Education and Science for degree awarding purposes. You will find a list of the institutions which are included in this scheme on the Department of Education website < insert link >.

International students who qualify will be allowed to extend their stay in the state on their existing conditions for a period of six months to allow them to seek employment.
